soori This was so good, its from Marc Dion
So anyway, I'm sitting in this writing shop, staring at the cursor and it's blinking at me...waiting for me to write something. Anything. I ask the old man next to me.

"What did you write?"
"Nothing," he answers glumly.
"Me neither," I say. Finally, I get an idea. I type in the words to the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mr. Thomas, the boss, comes by and looks at what I wrote.

"You spelled that wrong, son. It's 'invisible' - not 'indivisable.' Hurry up and fix it. It's almost closing time.

I pick up my 14 credits, which is pretty good for ten minutes work. By the time I get to my place, it's still bugging me. Did it get that bad? Is America really invisible now?

Nuance, teori nuance pink z the emotional body of humanity, arguably far stronger and more willful than our ideations. Beneath much of the mind lies a torrent of emotional content often deeply informing (or barely restrained by) the words released to share those nameless currents. While scientific method offers perhaps the apotheosis of restraint most of what we as humans engage in and communicate is driven by psychology, not intellect.

The terms "systems theory" and "cybernetics" have been widely used as synonyms. Some authors use the term cybernetic systems to denote a proper subset of the class of general systems, namely those systems that include feedback loops. However Gordon Pask's differences of eternal interacting actor loops (that produce finite products) makes general systems a proper subset of cybernetics. According to Jackson (2000), von Bertalanffy promoted an embryonic form of general system theory (GST) as early as the 1920s and 1930s but it was not until the early 1950s it became more widely known in scientific circles.
The term cybernetics derives from a Greek word which meant steersman, and which is the origin of English words such as "govern". Cybernetics is the study of feedback and derived concepts such as communication and control in living organisms, machines and organisations. Its focus is how anything (digital, mechanical or biological) processes information, reacts to information, and changes or can be changed to better accomplish the first two tasks.

Threads of cybernetics began in the late 1800s that led toward the publishing of seminal works (e.g., Wiener's Cybernetics in 1948 and von Bertalanffy's General Systems Theory in 1968). Cybernetics arose more from engineering fields and GST from biology. If anything it appears that although the two probably mutually influenced each other, cybernetics had the greater influence. Von Bertalanffy (1969) specifically makes the point of distinguishing between the areas in noting the influence of cybernetics: "Systems theory is frequently identified with cybernetics and control theory. This again is incorrect. Cybernetics as the theory of control mechanisms in technology and nature is founded on the concepts of information and feedback, but as part of a general theory of systems;" then reiterates: "the model is of wide application but should not be identified with 'systems theory' in general", and that "warning is necessary against its incautious expansion to fields for which its concepts are not made." (17-23). Jackson (2000) also claims von Bertalanffy was informed by Alexander Bogdanov's three volume Tectology that was published in Russia between 1912 and 1917, and was translated into German in 1928. He also states it is clear to Gorelik (1975) that the "conceptual part" of general system theory (GST) had first been put in place by Bogdanov. The similar position is held by Mattessich (1978) and Capra (1996). Ludwig von Bertalanffy never even mentioned Bogdanov in his works, which Capra (1996) finds "surprising".Cybernetics, catastrophe theory, chaos theory and complexity theory have the common goal to explain complex systems that consist of a large number of mutually interacting and interrelated parts in terms of those interactions. Cellular automata (CA), neural networks (NN), artificial intelligence (AI), and artificial life (ALife) are related fields, but they do not try to describe general (universal) complex (singular) systems. The best context to compare the different "C"-Theories about complex systems is historical, which emphasizes different tools and methodologies, from pure mathematics in the beginning to pure computer science now. Since the beginning of chaos theory when Edward Lorenz accidentally discovered a strange attractor with his computer, computers have become an indispensable source of information. One could not imagine the study of complex systems without the use of computers today.

Together they occupy the equivalent of almost three Pentagons or 22 U.S. Capitol buildings - about 17 million square feet of space. The result, he added, is that it's impossible to tell whether the country is safer because of all this spending and all these activities. "Because it lacks a synchronizing process, it inevitably results in message dissonance, reduced effectiveness and waste," Vines said. "We consequently can't effectively assess whether it is making us more safe."

Ahmadinejad Announces Iran's Conditions for Future N. Talks

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday announced that following the recent developments, Tehran now has three conditions for continuing nuclear talks with the world powers.

"Continuation of the talks requires that parties to the talks with Iran declare their views about Iran's questions transparently," Ahmadinejad said in a news conference here in Tehran today.

"We ask them (Iran's negotiating partners) to announced their stance on the Zionist regime's (Israel) atomic bombs," Ahmadinejad said, explaining that Tehran will have different approaches for talks with those states which support and those which do not support possession of atomic bombs by the Israeli regime.

Commenting on Tehran's second condition for the talks, President Ahmadinejad asked the other sides involved in nuclear talks with Iran to announce their commitment to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) clearly and transparently.

As regards the third condition, Ahmadinejad said, "These countries should declare what they are seeking through talks with Iran. Do they want to befriend us or do they seek enmity?"

Meantime, Ahmadinejad called for new negotiating partners, and said more countries should be involved in the talks over Iran's nuclear issue.

The current talks involve Iran and the Group 5+1 (the five permanent UN Security Council member states plus Germany).

President Ahmadinejad further announced Iran's decision to postpone talks with the world powers until August in a move to punish the West.

"We will postpone the talks to the end of Mordad (mid August)… and we will resume negotiations then so that they behave themselves and learn how to speak with the other nations," he said.

Washington and its Western allies accuse Iran of trying to develop nuclear weapons under the cover of a civilian nuclear program, while they have never presented any corroborative evidence to substantiate their allegations. Iran denies the charges and insists that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only.

Tehran stresses that the country has always pursued a civilian path to provide power to the growing number of Iranian population, whose fossil fuel would eventually run dry.

The western powers adopted a new round of sanctions against Iran just days after Brazil, Turkey and Iran reached an agreement which could resolve one of the longstanding nuclear debates between Tehran and West.

The western approach and measure caused deep anger not only in Iran, but also in Brazil and Turkey which had both entered talks with Iran at West's request.

Both nations gave a negative vote to the US-sponsored sanctions resolution against Iran at the UN Security Council on June 9.
